Dove Conditioner Review & $1,000 Spafinder Gift Certificate Giveaway

I'm super picky about hair products. I'm loyal to a few brands but try something new every couple of months. My hair is super curly and pretty manageable but I don't have much time to mess with it. It seems that good hair days with hair like mine is a total crapshoot. Sometimes it looks amazing. Fantastic! Other times it's limp, flat, and scraggly looking. Years spent wrangling my curls into submission have taught me a bit about what works and a lot about what doesn't. Dry, damaged, and kind of coarse (kind of because it's also sort of thin, my hair is nuts) hair needs serious conditioning. I've made the mistake of trying light conditioners or 2 in 1 products and suffered the consequences. Yes. Suffered. If I experiment and smear the wrong product on my head I look like Sideshow Bob.

No lie.

Dove-Intensive-Daily-Treatment-Conditioner

I recently tried Dove's Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner. Although I use other Dove products and have for years I was a bit skeptical about the conditioner. My hair is usually a snarled and tangled mess after shampooing so I need a conditioner that detangles and conditions *quickly*. Dove's Intensive Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner was rich and creamy didn't feel heavy but it conditioned well. My hair detangled quickly and wasn't weighed down. The curls remained intact. I also used the conditioner before flat ironing my hair and it looked great.

Dove says that it's "Fiber Active technology penetrates deep inside the hair strand". I haven't used it long enough to know for a fact that my hair is breaking less BUT as a habitual shedder I will say I've noticed a lot less rogue strands on my floor. And that is fantastic. I hate finding long pieces of hair everywhere. The conditioner is also supposed to strengthen your hair and prevent future damage. I'm putting it to the test and so far I'm pleased.

Try it for yourself. The price is right, it's easy to find, and it works. You've got nothing to lose.
