Photo Challenge: Edit Me Week 17

Branson of My Reflection of Something hosts a really great photo challenge called "Edit Me". Every week she posts a new straight out of the camera (SOOC) shot and readers are invited to edit the picture and link up. I love playing with my pictures on Photoshop and often wish I had more time to do so. Today must be my lucky day because I am trapped under a snuggly baby on the couch and my laptop is within arm's reach.

I am far from speedy when working with Camera Raw and Photoshop but here are the steps I took to achieve the edits above:

Camera Raw:

Edited custom white balance with the color picker Reduced exposure to -.75 Added fill light to 40 Boosted contrast, clarity, and saturation Sharpened the image Reduced image noise Boosted aqua color in the sky and red on the barn

Photoshop:

Ran one of my favorite actions by Paint the Moon: Fresh Wonderland II | Awesome Sauce Ran another PTM action called: Fresh | Fun Faux Flare from the right
